The Pink Palace Coven
A highly competitive Coven for the most skilled and powerful magic users. They are public figures and are used as faces to represent the community of magic users. Any class besides witches are allowed in the coven.
The Coven was founded 60 years ago from the present time of when the story takes place. It was to integrate magic more into human society along with being seen as a defense force that caters to humans.
The Coven uses a highly competitive system to be allowed in. There are a total of 5 ranks and 15 positions. To enter there's a waiting list and the person must win against in a magic duel with someone in the lowest rank. To go up the rank they must challenge someone higher, if the person of higher rank loses then they must exchange ranks. If the person of lower rank loses there then they must wait another 3 months before being able to challenge someone of higher rank.
The Pink Palace Coven is located in a large estate by Ancust, enough to house all members along with all of its staff. Heavily inspired by the Harlaxton Manor.
Magic Council
The overseer of the Pink Palace Coven and magic users. In charge of making laws for magic and punishing those who break the laws. They are believed to be the most powerful magic users in the continent. They have no bounds in their curiosity of the world. The magic council is located on the outskirts of Ancust surrounded by a huge wall. Before entering the magic council there are many magic users that have been crucified due to crimes, left to rot in the sun.
Reapers
Reapers-Those who work for The Magic Council collecting or killing bounties. Reapers can be magic users or non-magic users. A collecting bounty is to keep the target alive and brought back, either for research or a zoo. A killing bounty they must receive the body for completion. The body is handled by the mortician to get rid of. Some reapers can even get bounties to kill or capture magic users that have gone rogue like witches.
Night Patrol
Night Patrol is a group made to collect samples of squirms to be researched on or to decrease the population of squirms in an area. Night Patrol consists of clerics, vampires and a few reapers. Originally Night Patrol was made to look out for any suspicious activity that takes place at night but was quickly changed to what it is now due to the plague.
Magic Forest
A lush forest that is in between human and sun elf territory. The magic forest is commonly not ventured, still remaining mysterious of all the creatures that reside there. Only those who enter the forest are those passing through or poachers.
During the war the forest had become plagued with lingering cursed magic spreading throughout the forest like a blight. There have been signs of the curse slowing down due to some efforts but it has not been stopped completely. Many creatures that reside there like centaurs do have animosity towards both humans and elves, usually quick to drive any of those who enter quickly out. There have been some creatures like satyrs who have ventured out and now live in cities which is a new occurrence.
As of a few years ago more research and studies have been done by a researcher named Valen who was quickly sponsored by Pink Palace after acknowledging his findings. Even being tolerated by most of the magical creatures that resided there. However after his disappearance, research has not progressed as many either fear the forest or the residents do not tolerate the newest researcher.
The Grand Theater
The most prestigious theater known, often having a waitlist of 4 years without a confirmed show. Nonetheless many wait for any show as it's known as a “experience of a lifetime”. Estelleis a huge fan of the arts and often has seats reserved especially for her and a special guest.
The Grand Theater is managed by June, a son of a former politician, who is known for being money hungry and is easily persuaded by money. Once a cast member plays a role, they’re continuously type casted so they can fit a niche and be most profitable to audiences. It is rumored that June is also using The Grand Theater as a place to store items to be later sold at the black market or even a scheme for trafficking. Nontheless the Grand Theater is still very successful.
The Black Market
Occurs once a month during a full moon under the city of Ancust. It is a very secretive event having bodyguards only letting those with specifically crafted masks. Mister, a demon with a fly head, is known for running The Black Market. He keeps a guest list of all those who have a mask and have previously attended the market. Nothing is limited in The Black Market, everything and anything can be found there from cursed scriptures to roasted siren tails.
Masks
X, is in charge of crafting the masks after previously using cursed magic that they obtained by Mister, they are forever indebted to Mister unless they exchange their soul.
Buyers- A pig mask with a black cloak
Sellers- A fox mask with a red cloak
To get a mask is through a connection system. Knowing someone who has attended The Black Market is the only way, as they can request a mask for another with name and information. All info given must be true or it can lead to being hunted.
With the rise of people living in the underground tunnels, they are often either kicked during this event or turn a blind eye not entering the event entirely. The Black Market used to be hosted in the city but as The Magic Council has become more strict and making new laws on magic they have changed locations. They have their own “Reapers” , those who collect material to sell or have connections to the actual Reapers. Rarely their “Reapers” would have to hunt down someone for breaking a rule.

The Main Cities
Ancust- Magic Capital A flourishing city bursting with life and entertainment. Popular sites- The Grand Theater, Pink Palace Coven, The Market, and much much more Only a collective amount of people are able to live in Ancust as it is a city mainly for work and entertainment. Usually once a month the Black Market is hosted in the underground tunnels of the city. The underground tunnels are usually empty but there's been a rise of people who live under there, those who do not want to be part of society.
Blackridge- A town right by Ancust A place for those who can’t afford to live in Ancust but close enough to work there. The architecture compared to Ancust is more square and sharp with tall buildings trying to host as many people as possible. Animals roam more freely as some townsfolk raise animals for food but have no space for them.

Other Covens
Witches Coven- The witches coven is a coven primarily for witches to gather. Not much is known where the Witches Coven is located or how exactly the coven works besides the gathering of witches.
Vampire Coven- Recently the Vampire Coven has made a treaty with the Magic Council with the state of the plague. Vampires agree to help with the squirm problem as they aren’t affected by them due to “double jeopardy” and in exchange they receive donations of blood to prevent the spreading of the vampire curse in humans.The Vampire Coven has hierarchy as those who are pure blooded vampires are those in charge while humans that are cursed can only have the roles of members with only a say in some matters.
Dungeons
Dungeons are primarily Elf territory but some dungeons have been given to humans with restrictions. Dungeons are often where monsters and creatures live. Many profit from monster items in the overworld and can sometimes find treasure. Pixies are often used by those who go into dungeons as pixies are able to alert any change within a dungeon or approaching monsters. Dungeon culture is much more different then the overworld as they have a separate system down there.Shifting Dungeons- Dungeons that constantly change and become entirely different, sometimes even connecting with other dungeons. Shifting dungeons are closed off due to how dangerous they are.
